Os Lali Puna caíram no meu colo num acaso. Eu tinha pedido, durante uma aula, a uma amiga (a Mafa) todos os CDs de Sigur Rós que ela tinha para eu gravar em casa. Ela tinha-os dentro de um porta-cds, onde estavam mais CDs que o namorado lhe tinha gravado e emprestou-me aquilo tudo...
Cheguei e casa e pus-me a ouvir. Gostei de alguns. Não gostei de outros tantos. Amei dois CDs que ela tinha: um estava identificado como Arto Lyndsay, outro não tinha nada...
Continuei a ouvir e quase a decorar as letras das músicas, mesmo sem saber que raio era aquilo! Até que um dia, em conversa lembrei-me de perguntar: "oh Spooky que CD era aquele que não tinha nome?" E ele respodeu-me "Lali Puna".
Prontamente apontei esse nome num papel que se encontrava na minha bolsa dos lápis e nunca mais o esqueci.
Agora os Lali Puna fazem parte da minha vida, como os elásticos servem para prender cabelo... Electrónica, misturada com paixão, futurismo, vanguardismo e música experimental... para além de umas letras fantásticas... recomendo!
